2017 Ferrari SF70H

Eight car created for my bachelor's thesis.
Speeeeeeed! - I think that was the min word that was on minds of people making new regulations in F1 for season 2017. The plan was to make cars faster up to about five seconds per lap (comparing to cars from 2015 season).

And they succeed.

Many lap records was beaten in 2017, cars become faster, more challenging to drive - but it had a price, and it was a big one. Overtaing was much harder now, amount of successfull manouveres drop down significantly. It was due to increased aero elements on the car that create disturbed air flow, making following car in front hard.

Around 40 hours took me to create this car, and thank's to that I was finally able to complete my animation, just on the deadline. This was my most compex model (and still is!), all those little winglets on monocoque and diffuser, unique new sidepods design, complicated front wing ect - but lookng back now it was a very fun project.

Model was created in june 2017
